Air Force Day 2023:- Indian Air Force was established on October 8, 1932. This year, India is celebrating 91st Air Force Day. PM Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh greet Indian Air Force on this day.

Air Force Day 2023: Every year Indian Air Force Day is celebrated on October 8. This year, India is celebrating 91st Air Force Day. Indian Air Force was established on this day in 1932 and since then this day has been celebrated every year.

This day is celebrated with full of enthusiasm and fervour across the country. IAF conduct their respective parades at their air bases on this day. Protecting air space is the prime duty of Air Force.

This year, Air Force Day fly-past is scheduled to take place over Sangam at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. President Droupadi Murmu and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be present there during the event.

The flypast is set to showcase 120 aircraft, highlighted by the latest addition to the IAF’s fleet, the C-295. Among the participating aircraft are Rafales, Mirage-2000s, Sukhoi-30s, MiG-29s, and Jaguars, as stated by officials.

Indian Air Force is the fourth largest Air Force in the world after United States, Russia and China. Vivek Ram Chaudhary is the current Chief of the Indian Air Staff.

Air Force Day 2023:- PM Modi and Defence minister Rajnath Singh greet IAF

On the 90th Indian Air Force Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi greets air warriors and their families. He said that the India is proud of the Indian Air Force.

“Best wishes to all air warriors and their families on Air Force Day. India is proud of the valour, commitment and dedication of the Indian Air Force. Their great service and sacrifice ensure our skies are safe.,” PM Modi tweeted.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also greets courageous IAF air warriors and their families on the Indian Air Force Day.

“Greetings and warm wishes to all Indian Air Force personnel and their families on the occasion of the #91stAnniversary of this amazing force. We are proud of our #Airwarriors who play significant role in keeping India safe. The #IAF today is lethal and formidable force, projecting its air power beyond boundaries. #AFDay2023 @IAF_MCC,” Rajnath Singh tweeted.
