Superstar Mahesh Babu’s mother Indira Devi has passed away in Hyderabad at the age of 70. Her funeral will take place at Maha Prasthanam. Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Ravi Teja expressed condolences.
Superstar Mahesh Babu’s mother Indira Devi has passed away today on wednesday in Hyderabad. As per reports, she was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad for her illness. She was 70.
Indira was the wife of veteran superstar Krishna. Her mortal remains will be kept at Padmalaya studios from 9 am to 12 pm so that people can pay tribute to her. Her funeral will take place at Maha Prasthanam.
Megastar Chiranjeevi expressed his condolences to all the family members. He wrote in a tweet, “The news that Mrs. Indira Devi has passed away is very sad. Wishing the soul of the Mother Goddess to rest in peace, I express my deepest condolences to Superstar Krishna, brother Mahesh Babu and all the family members.”
Nagarjuna Akkineni tweeted, “Deepest condolences to #krishna garu @urstrulyMahesh and his family #ripindiradevigaru”
“Saddened to learn of the demise of Indira Devi garu.. Heartfelt condolences to Krishna garu, @urstrulyMahesh and the family. May her soul rest in peace,” Ravi Teja tweeted.
Indira Devi is survived by his husband Krishna, daughters Padmavathi, Manjula and Priyadarshini and son Mahesh Babu. Her elder son Ramesh Babu passed away in January at the age of 56 due to liver-related issues.
