Manchester United star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo’s new born boy has died. He announced this news on social media on monday. He was expecting twins with his partner Georgina Rodriguez. She gave birth to daughter but their son has died. Ronaldo said it is the greatest pain that any parents can feel.
“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel,” Ronaldo wrote.
He also said that only the birth of their baby girl gives them strength to live this moment with some hope. “Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness,” he added.
“We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you”
Ronaldo also thanked doctors and nurses for their support. “We would like to thank our doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support,” he wrote.
Manchester United gave strength to Ronaldo and his family. “Your pain is our pain, @Cristiano Sending love and strength to you and the family at this time,” Manchester United tweeted.
Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner have a four year daughter together, while Ronaldo has three other children.
