PM KISAN scheme:- In the 10th installment of this scheme, more than Rs. 20,000 crore has been transferred into the accounts of more than 10 crore beneficiary farmers.

Prime minister Narendra Modi released 10th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on 1st January, 2022. In this installment, more than Rs. 20,000 crore has been transferred into the accounts of more than 10 crore beneficiary farmers.
PM chose new year to interact with the farmers and to give new year gift to them. Alongwith 10th installment, equity grant of Rs. 14,000 crore has also been released to about 351 Farmer Producer Organisations (FPO), which will benefit 1.24 lakh farmers.
PM KISAN 10th installment has been released via video conferencing. Besides PM Narendra Modi, Union Agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Chief ministers of 9 states, agriculture ministers and farmers were also present in the video conferencing.

PM KISAN scheme was launched to give benefit to the small farmers of the country. It helps in increasing their income. Under this scheme, Rs 6,000 is provided to the beneficiary farmers annually which is payable in three equal installments of Rs. 2,000 each.
More than Rs 1.80 lakh crore has been released under the PM Kisan scheme including 10th installment. This scheme was originally announced in the 2019 february budget. 9th installment of this scheme has been released in August, 2021.
