Bollywood actors Kareena Kapoor and Amrita Arora tested Covid-19 positive on monday. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has ordered RT-PCR tests to all those, who came in contact with them.
Kareena Kapoor confirmed it in her instagram story yesterday. She wrote, ‘I have tested positive for Covid. I immediately isolated myself while following all medical protocols. I request anyone who has come in contact with me to please get tested.”
“My family and staff are also double vaccinated. They are currently showing not any symptoms. Thankfully, I am feeling ok and hope to be up and about soon.”, she further wrote.

According to the reports, BMC has traced all the persons, who have come in contact with them. Their Covid test has been taken and reports are awaited.
Reportedly, Kareena Kapoor and Amrita Arora violated the Covid-19 protocols and attended several parties. On December 8, they attended the Karan Johar’s party. This party was held for the completion of 20 years of ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.’
Kareena and Amrita are best friends and they both tested for Covid-19 on December 11 and their reports came yesterday in which they found Covid-19 positive.
Recently, Kareena and Amrita were also seen in the Anil Kapoor’s daughter Rhea Kapoor’s party. Karishma Kapoor, Malaika Arora and designer Masaba Gupta also attended that party.
In India, omicron variant has been found in almost 40 persons so far. First omicron variant was detected in South Africa in November.
