New Zealand’s left arm spinner Ajaz Patel becomes the third player to take 10 wickets in an innings. He did this miracle against India in the 2nd test on Saturday.

The 33 year old Ajaz Patel joins the England’s Jim Laker and India’s former captain Anil Kumble, who had also done this very rarest feat.

Jim Laker took 10-53 against Australia in Manchester in July, 1956. India’s former captain Anil Kumble took 10-74 vs Pakistan in Delhi in February, 1999.

Ajaz Patel finished with 10 wickets by giving 119 runs in 47.5 overs. He took the 10th wicket of Mohammad Siraj and creates the history. On the first day of 2nd test against India, Patel took all the four wickets and on the second day, he took all the left 6 wickets.

Ajaz Patel basically belongs to India. He was born in 1988 in Mumbai, India. He moved to New Zealand along with his family when he was eight years old. He has created history at his birth place in Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

In the second test match of India vs New Zealand, India scored 325 runs in the first innings, Mayank Agarwal scored 150 and Axar Patel (52) hit his maiden half century. India’s all wickets have been taken by Ajaz Patel.
