Famous and renowned anchor of Aaj tak Rohit Sardana has passed away on 30 april morning. He was just 41 years old. He has died because of cardiac arrest during the treatment in private hospital in noida. Recently, he was tested covid-19 positive. His health was deteriorating day by day.
He was active on social media during his treatment. He was regularly tweeting about his health and encouraging his colleagues. But on thursday night his condition was started deteriorating and he was rushed to Metro multispeciality hospital in noida where he has passed away on morning of 30 april.
Rohit sardana was hailed from kurukshetra in Haryana. He was the star anchor who has received the NT award and ENBA award for the best anchor as well as the prestigious Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi award for hindi journalism.
He had spanned over one and a half decade in his career. He was started his career as an announcer in All India Radio and after he anchored shows in Sahara samay, ETV, Zee news and Aaj tak.
He had created a milestone by anchoring the prime time show Dangal on Aaj tak channel. He was considered one of the finest anchors on the news channel. Prior to this, he was the anchor of popular news channel Zee news.
He was never hesitated from asking tough questions to the politicians. He had many followers on the social media.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters and his parents. It was the responsibility of India today group to inform to his family before making the news of his death public. Only after informing them, news was made public.
