Actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi, who featured in several films such as Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish, dies of heart attack at the Kokilaben hospital in Mumbai. He was 68.
His son-in-law Ashish Chaturvedi confirmed this news on social media. Ashish Chaturvedi wrote in hindi, “Aap duniya ke sabse achhe pita the, aapne mujhe damad nahi balki ek bete ke tarah apna prem diya, bhagwan aapki atma ko shanti pardan kare” (You were the best dad in the world, you loved me not like a son-in-law but like a son, May God rest your soul in peace).
Mithilesh Chaturvedi acted in many films including Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, Phata Poster Nikla Hero, Taal, Asoka, Ready, Bunty aur Babli, Satya and Fiza.
He also played in TV shows like Patiala Babes and web series like Scam 1992 as Ram Jethmalani. He was last seen in Gulabo Sitabo with Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurana.

Fans offered their condolences over the demise of veteran actor. One wrote, “Rest in Peace He was one of the great Indian actor #mithileshchaturvedi Om shanti”. “Veteran actor #MithileshChaturvedi passes away. May he rest in peace and glory,” one more wrote on social media.
“Veteran actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi ji is no more May his soul rest in peace. Om shanti,” one more wrote on twitter.
