Porbandar Helicopter Crash Claims Lives of Three Indian Coast Guard Crew Members

An Indian Coast Guard Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) crashed during a training sortie at Porbandar Airport in Gujarat, resulting in the tragic deaths of three crew members.

The incident occurred around 12:10 PM when the helicopter encountered technical difficulties during landing. All three individuals on board, including two pilots, succumbed to their injuries. Two were declared dead upon arrival at the hospital, while the third passed away shortly thereafter.

The Indian Coast Guard has initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the helicopter crash. The loss of these personnel is a significant blow to the maritime security agency, and condolences have been extended to the bereaved families.
