Former “Home Improvement” star Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on charges of second-degree domestic violence. This incident marks his third arrest within the past 12 months.

In 2024, Bryan faced two separate arrests for driving under the influence (DUI). The first occurred in February in California, followed by another in October in Oklahoma, where he was also charged with driving without a valid license.
Bryan’s legal troubles extend beyond the past year. In July 2023, he was arrested in Oregon on charges including felony assault and third-degree robbery, to which he later pleaded guilty, resulting in a sentence of seven days in jail and 36 months of probation.
Additionally, in October 2020, he was arrested on charges of strangulation and assault involving his then-girlfriend, leading to a guilty plea for menacing and fourth-degree assault.
Despite these legal issues, Bryan became engaged to his reported victim, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, with whom he shares three children. His former co-star, Tim Allen, has expressed concern over Bryan’s actions, noting a change in his behavior over the years.
