The UGC has declared the UGC NET result on the official website i.e., ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The exam was conducted in 81 subjects in 837 centres across 239 cities of the country. Almost 12 lakh candidates had registered for the examination this year.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has declared the UGC NET result on saturday, february 19, 2022. Candidates can check the result on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. This exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on the behalf of UGC.
The UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 session was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. So, it was conducted in three phases- on November 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30, December 1, 3, 4, 5 and January 4 and 5, 2022. The exam was conducted in 81 subjects in 837 centres across 239 cities of the country. Almost 12 lakh candidates had registered for the examination this year.
Candidates need their application number and date of birth to check the result online. The result has been declared in two servers. Below is the direct link of both the servers.
How to check the UGC NET Result online?
Here are the steps to check the UGC NET Result:-
1. Go to the official website of UGC i.e., ugcnet.nta.nic.in
2. On the home page, there will be two links available for the result
3. Fill the application number, date of birth and security pin shown on the screen
4. After filling this information, click on the submit button
5. Your result will appear on your screen
6. Check and download it for the future reference.
There shall be no re-evaluation/re-checking of results. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
The UGC NET examination determines the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian universities and colleges.
