In response, Kamra questioned the compensation of Blinkit’s delivery personnel, asking Dhindsa to disclose the average wages paid to them in 2024. Kamra accused platform owners of exploiting gig workers by offering them “freedom that they can’t afford” and wages that don’t meet their aspirations.
This exchange follows a similar incident where Kamra engaged with Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal over issues related to customer service and the treatment of gig workers.
The debate has sparked discussions on social media about the working conditions and compensation of gig workers in India’s rapidly growing quick commerce sector.
Many users have expressed support for Kunal Kamra‘s stance, emphasizing the need for better regulation and protection for gig workers.
