The incident occurred at a two-story garage, where the blaze claimed the lives of Edward Jacobs, 35, and his friend Anastasia Ettienne, 33.

According to prosecutors, Aliya reportedly arrived at the scene early in the morning and was heard shouting threats before setting the fire. Both victims tragically succumbed to smoke inhalation and severe burns.
The charges against her include first- and second-degree murder and arson, with a potential life sentence if convicted. Her next court appearance is on December 9.
Reports indicate that Edward Jacobs, a father of three, had ended his relationship with Aliya over a year ago, resisting her repeated attempts to reconcile. This tragedy has led to widespread discussions about the consequences of strained personal relationships.
Nargis Fakhri, best known for her role in Rockstar, has reportedly been estranged from Aliya for more than two decades. While Nargis has not publicly addressed the incident, their mother, Marie Fakhri, described Aliya as a caring person and expressed disbelief over the allegations.
