Atul Subhash Suicide: Techie’s 24-Page Note Sparks Debate Over Harassment and Justice

Atul Subhash, a 34-year-old tech professional residing in Bengaluru, tragically died by suicide in his apartment on December 9, 2024. Originally from Uttar Pradesh, he had been living alone following a separation from his wife.

A detailed 24-page suicide note, including both handwritten and typed sections, was left behind, accusing his wife, her family, and even a court official of harassment and corruption.

Subhash alleged in the note that he faced severe mental and financial harassment due to multiple legal cases filed by his wife, including dowry demands and accusations of domestic violence.

He claimed his wife, despite being employed and receiving substantial monthly maintenance, demanded additional large sums for settlements.

In his note, he expressed a desire for justice and detailed his grievances against the system, even appealing to prominent global figures like Elon Musk and Donald Trump for support against such issues.

A police investigation is underway following a complaint by Subhash‘s family, with an FIR registered against his wife and her relatives for alleged harassment.
