This initiative aims to encourage people to return to cinemas and enjoy a theatrical experience, especially after the rise of OTT platforms.
With over 4,000 screens participating nationwide, this day promises to offer a wide variety of films, including recent blockbusters, sequels, and re-releases. However, premium formats like 3D films and luxury seating are excluded from this offer.
In former editions, National Cinema Day has seen record admissions, with over 6 million movie watchers participating in 2022 and 2023.
This year’s celebration also highlights the Indian cinema industry’s success in 2024, with films like Stree 2, The Buckingham Murders, and others being screened. Movie buffs are encouraged to book tickets early to avoid missing out on this fantastic deal.
