The couple reportedly met when Sandera was working as a hostess at Eastwood’s Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. They began dating in 2014.

A longtime resident of Carmel, Christina Sandera accompanied Clint Eastwood, a former Carmel mayor, to several high-profile events. She attended the 2015 Academy Awards when “American Sniper” received six nominations, including best picture, and joined him on the red carpet for the premieres of “Sully” (2016), “The Mule” (2018), “The 15:17 to Paris” (2018), and “Richard Jewell” (2019).

Eastwood, now 94, has had a notable romantic history. He was married to model Maggie Johnson from 1953 until their separation in 1964 and eventual divorce in 1984. He later married TV news anchor Dina Ruiz in 1996; they divorced in 2014.

Eastwood’s other significant relationships included those with stuntwoman Roxanne Tunis, actress Sondra Locke with whom he was a domestic partner for 14 years and co-starred in six films, flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves, and actress Frances Fisher who co-starred with him in four films during their five-year relationship.
