Billionaire Rupert Murdoch, 93, ties the knot for the fifth time with a retired molecular biologist Elena Zhukova, 67, at Murdoch’s vineyard in Bel-Air, California.
Rupert Murdoch, the influential right-wing media mogul, married for the fifth time on Saturday, as reported by the British tabloid newspaper, The Sun.

The Sun, a publication owned by Murdoch, featured photos of the 93-year-old Australian billionaire with his 67-year-old wife, retired molecular biologist Elena Zhukova. The wedding took place at Murdoch’s vineyard in Bel-Air, California.
Elena Zhukova is the mother of Russian American art collector Dasha Zhukova, who was formerly married to Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich.
Murdoch led Fox Corporation and News Corp for decades, overseeing media outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, and Fox News.
With a net worth of $9.77 billion according to Bloomberg’s Billionaire Index, Murdoch announced in November 2023 that he would step down as chairman of both Fox Corporation and News Corp, passing the leadership to his son, Lachlan. Murdoch will still play an “active role” in News Corp and serves as chairman emeritus of both companies.

Murdoch began dating Zhukova last summer, and their engagement was announced in March.
Previously, Rupert Murdoch was married to former supermodel Jerry Hall, with their marriage ending in divorce in 2022. In March 2023, Murdoch proposed to Ann Lesley Smith, but the engagement was called off two weeks later.
