Tragic Road Accident Claims Bollywood Actor Pankaj Tripathi’s Brother-in-Law, Leaves Sister Injured

Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi’s brother-in-law, Rakesh Tiwari, tragically passed away, and his sister, Sabita Tiwari, sustained severe injuries in a road accident. Authorities revealed that Tiwari was driving the car when it veered out of control and collided with a road divider.

Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi’s brother-in-law, Rakesh Tiwari, tragically passed away, and his sister, Sabita Tiwari, sustained severe injuries in a road accident in Jharkhand’s Dhanbad on Saturday, according to officials. The couple was en route to West Bengal from Bihar’s Gopalganj district when the accident occurred.

Following the incident, they were swiftly taken to the Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College Hospital (SNMMCH) in Dhanbad, where Rakesh Tiwari was declared deceased upon arrival. Sabita Tiwari, who suffered a leg fracture, is now stable, as reported by SNMMCH Emergency HOD Dr. Dinesh Kumar Gindauria.

Authorities revealed that Tiwari was driving the car when it veered out of control and collided with a road divider. Investigations are ongoing to determine the precise cause of the accident. Rakesh Tiwari was employed with the Indian Railways and stationed at Chittaranjan, according to media sources.

In August last year, Pankaj Tripathi mourned the loss of his father, Pandit Banaras Tiwari, who passed away at the age of 99. Tripathi was last seen in Netflix’s “Murder Mubarak” and “Main Atal Hoon,” and he has garnered acclaim for his roles in various films such as “OMG2,” “Stree,” “Ludo,” “Mimi,” “Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl,” “Bareilly ki Barfi,” and “Gangs of Wasseypur.”

Tripathi has also made his mark in the world of OTT entertainment with acclaimed performances in series like “Sacred Games,” “Mirzapur,” and “Criminal Justice.”

Additionally, he appeared in the 2021 OTT film “Kaagaz,” directed by the late Satish Kaushik and produced by Salman Khan and Nishant Kaushik under the banner of Salman Khan Films and The Satish Kaushik Entertainment Production.
