Bell, who starred in “The Amanda Show” from 1999 to 2002, will reveal the details of the abuse inflicted by Peck, who was convicted in 2004 on various charges related to sexual abuse of a minor.
Brian Peck’s criminal history includes pleading no contest to performing lewd acts with a 14- or 15-year-old and engaging in oral copulation with a minor under 16. Despite the conviction, the specific details of the abuse Bell endured remain undisclosed at this time.
The series sheds light on the broader issue of toxic work conditions prevalent in children’s TV shows during the late ’90s and early 2000s, with a focus on the creations of Dan Schneider, the mind behind beloved Nickelodeon series such as “iCarly” and “Zoey 101.”
“Quiet on Set” is set to air on March 17 and 18, offering viewers an in-depth look into the darker aspects of the industry and the challenges faced by those involved.
