The renowned actor, known for iconic roles in “Forrest Gump,” “Apollo 13,” “The Green Mile,” and “CSI NY,” took to Instagram to share a poignant photo of Mac along with a touching caption.

In the caption, Sinise expressed the heartbreak of losing a child and directed his followers to the Gary Sinise Foundation website for a more in-depth tribute to Mac.
