Actor Shreyas Talpade found himself in the grip of a medical emergency, with a sudden heart attack striking while he was immersed in filming ‘Welcome to the Jungle.’ Rushed to Belle Vue Hospital in Andheri West, Mumbai, the 47-year-old underwent an angioplasty procedure, now resting in stable condition.
A close source mentioned, “Shreyas, 47, was in the midst of shooting when he suffered a heart attack. Thankfully, he’s doing well now.”
As Shreyas Talpade recuperates, his upcoming project, ‘Welcome to the Jungle,’ helmed by Ahmed Khan, boasts an ensemble cast featuring renowned names like Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Suniel Shetty, and an array of other talented artists.
This installment marks the third in the ‘Welcome’ series, following the success of its predecessors, one of which starred Feroz Khan, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, and Paresh Rawal. Subsequently, the 2015 release ‘Welcome Back’ starred John Abraham and Shruti Haasan.

Interestingly, this incident echoes a similar health scare faced by Sushmita Sen earlier this year, as the 47-year-old actress underwent an angioplasty following a heart attack.
Sharing her experience through a candid Instagram post, she lightened the moment with her trademark wit, affirming, “I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back…Angioplasty done…stent in place…and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart’.”
