Tamil superstar Suriya has officially revealed his next project through a video shared on his social media platform. The upcoming film, tentatively titled ‘Suriya 43,’ will be directed by Sudha Kongara and produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment in collaboration with Meenakshi Cinemas.
This gangster drama features not only Suriya but also stars Malayalam sensation Dulquer Salmaan and the talented Vijay Varma. Additionally, Nazriya Fahadh will play a significant role in the movie.

Suriya expressed his excitement in a tweet, saying, “Dear all we are excited! Joining hands with @Sudha_Kongara again in a @gvprakash musical, his 100th! SO looking forward to work with my brother @dulQuer & the talented #Nazriya & the performance champ @MrVijayVarma Glad @2D_ENTPVTLTD is producing this special film!”
On a different note, Suriya is currently engaged in the production of ‘Kanguva,’ a period action drama directed by Siva. In this film, he will take on five different roles and introduce Disha Patani to Tamil cinema.
‘Kanguva’ is said to be a magnum opus with a substantial budget, promising a remarkable visual experience and action sequences. While most of the plot details remain undisclosed, it is confirmed that the movie will release in 2D and 3D formats across ten different languages in early 2024.
Notably, Devi Sri Prasad, who has composed music for ‘Kanguva,’ shared insights into the film, describing it as a massive project set to release in multiple languages.
