Prime Minister Modi expressed his deep gratitude for the opportunity and announced the event through his social media platform, X (formerly Twitter).

Prime Minister Modi shared his joy in a post on X, saying, “Hail Siya Ram! Today is a day filled with profound emotions. Recently, officials from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust visited my residence and invited me to Ayodhya for the consecration of the Shri Ram temple. I consider myself immensely fortunate to witness this historic occasion in my lifetime.”

The construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is progressing rapidly, following a lengthy legal battle that culminated in the Supreme Court’s decision to permit its construction in 2019.

The temple project was a significant promise made by the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After the Supreme Court verdict, the government established the ‘Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Tirtha Kshetra’ Trust, tasked with making all decisions related to the temple’s construction.
