Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz are said to be preparing for their wedding. The news comes from a report by PEOPLE, confirming the engagement between the 21 Jump Street actor and the Big Little Lies actress. The love story began in 2021 on the set of Kravitz’s directorial debut, “Pussy Island,” where Tatum also stars.
Kravitz proudly displayed her substantial engagement ring at a Halloween party, dressed as Mia Farrow’s character from “Rosemary’s Baby,” while Tatum opted for an enormous baby costume.
In an interview with GQ, Kravitz expressed her deep connection with Tatum, emphasizing his caring nature. She described him as her protector and praised his wonderful and sweet personality. They share a passion for art, profound discussions, and dissecting films together.
Both Kravitz, 34, and Tatum, 33, previously worked together on “The LEGO Batman Movie” in 2017, playing Catwoman and Superman, respectively. However, they likely didn’t meet in person during production, as voiceover work is often solitary.
Tatum was previously married to Jenna Dewan, his co-star in “Step Up,” and they have a daughter together. Kravitz was briefly married to actor Karl Glusman in 2019, but the marriage ended in divorce the following year.
In 2023, Channing Tatum appeared in Steven Soderbergh’s “Magic Mike’s Last Dance” and authored a children’s book. His next project is the sci-fi film “Project Artemis” with Scarlett Johansson. Kravitz’s upcoming role is in the horror film “Self-Portrait,” alongside Thomasin McKenzie. She has also collaborated with producer Jack Antonoff on an album.
“Pussy Island” features a star-studded cast, including Naomi Ackie, Haley Joel Osment, Adria Arjona, Geena Davis, and Kyle MacLachlan. Although the film was initially expected to release in 2023, no official release date has been confirmed.
