On Wednesday, reality star Kourtney Kardashian expressed her gratitude towards both her medical team and her husband, Travis Barker.
Kourtney Kardashian addressed the public on Wednesday, revealing that she recently underwent “urgent fetal surgery” to safeguard her unborn child’s well-being. In her heartfelt message, she expressed her gratitude to both her medical team and her devoted husband, Travis Barker, who made the abrupt decision to leave the Blink-182 tour last week in order to support her during this challenging time.
“I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this,” Kourtney Kardashian said on instagram.
She continued: “As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.”
“Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing,” Kourtney Kardashian added.

Kardashian and Barker are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child as a couple. Kardashian is already a loving mother to three children from her previous relationship with Scott Disick.
Last Friday, Blink-182 made the difficult decision to postpone multiple upcoming shows, citing Barker’s need to return home due to “an urgent family matter.” However, Barker shared a hopeful update on Wednesday, revealing that the tour is set to resume this Friday.
“God is great. I flew home for a life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby that I’m so grateful went well. I want to say thank you for all the support. Tour resumes Friday,” Barker tweeted.
In the midst of these developments, Barker reached out to his fans for support, requesting prayers, and sharing images from a prayer room on his Instagram story just hours before the band’s announcement regarding the postponed shows.
