Happy Krishna Janmashtami 2024:- Lord Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, was born on the eighth day of dark fortnight in the month of Bhadrapada. Lord Krishna’s birth anniversary is celebrated as Krishna Janmashtami. There is a great importance of Janmashtami in the Hindu culture.
Lord Krishna was the child of Devaki and Vasudeva. Krishna was born at midnight at Mathura inside the prison cell where his parents were lodged. According to the Mythology, Lord Krishna was the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu. Krishna was insecured at Mathura because of King Kansa. So, Krishna’s father took him to village near Mathura where he grew up with his foster parents Nanda and Yashoda and siblings Balarama and Subhadra.
