October 22:- Dhanteras or Dhan Trayodashi

People worship Lord Kubera and Goddess Lakshmi on Dhanteras. Buying gold, silver, utensils, clothes and gadgets on this day is considered auspicious and good luck. The puja muhurat is from 07:00 pm to 08:17 pm on October 22.

October 23:- Narak Chaturdashi

Narak Chaturdashi is also known as Choti Diwali. This year, it falls on October 23. Narak Chaturdashi will begin at 05:05 am and end at 06:27 am on October 23. According to the Hindu Mythology, Lord Krishna fought the demon Narakasura and killed him.

October 24:- Diwali 2022

Diwali is the major and most important festival. Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya on this day after 14 years of exile and defeating Ravana. This year, Diwali will be celebrated on October 24. People worship Goddess Lakshmi and take her blessings on this day. The Lakshmi puja muhurat will begin at 06:53 pm and end at 08:15 pm on October 24.

October 25:- Govardhan Puja

The Govardhan puja muhurat is from 06:28 am to 08:43 am on October 25. Hindus worship Lord Krishna on this day. It is believed that Lord Krishna saved the residents of Mathura from Lord Indra by lifting the mountain named ‘Govardhan’.

October 26:- Bhai Dooj

Bhai Dooj or Bhau Beej is the last day of 5-day long festival of Diwali. It is celebrated on the second day of the Shukla Paksha of the lunar calendar. This year, it falls on October 26. Bhai Dooj celebrates the beautiful bond of brothers and sisters. The Aparahna time is between 01:12 pm and 03:26 pm.
