The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 10th Result. CBSE has released the 12th and 10th board results on the same date. Students who have appeared in the exam can check their result on the official website cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.nic.in.
CBSE Class 10th exams were conducted from April 26 to May 24. A total of 21,09,208 students had registered for the exam out of which 20,93,978 students appeared in the exam and 19,76,668 students have passed the exam.
The overall pass percentage of CBSE Class 10th is 94.40%. Girls have performed better than boys. The pass percentage of girls is 95.21% while the boys pass percentage is 93.80%. The pass percentage of transgender category is 90%.
Just like 12th exam, Trivandrum region has topped the Class 10th exam as well with the pass percentage of 99.68% while the Guwahati region has the lowest pass percentage of 82.23%.
For final results, in case of theory exams, 30% weightage has been given to Term 1 and 70% weightage to Term 2 exams. In case of practical exams, equal weightage has been given to both terms.
