The partial solar eclipse can be seen from the south and south-western parts of South America, Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, parts of Antarctica, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia and Peru. This eclipse can not be seen in India.

Precautions while looking at eclipse
NASA suggested not to see the eclipse with the naked eyes. Use an eclipse glasses or pinhole projector while looking at eclipse.

The next solar eclipse will take place on October 25 while the next lunar eclipse will appear on November 8 this year. This solar eclipse can be seen in India albeit for a very brief period just before sunset.
