Punjab government has imposed Covid-19 restrictions in the state till January 15, 2022. All the non-essentials activities from 11 pm to 5 am will remain prohibited in the state. Here’s know what is allowed and what is not allowed.

Night curfew in Punjab till January 15, 2022

Punjab government has imposed night curfew in Punjab amid Covid-19 scare. All schools, colleges, educational institutions and coaching centres will remain closed till January 15, 2022.

All the non-essentials activities from 11 pm to 5 am will remain prohibited in the state. Punjab government also suggested to wear masks and keep social distancing in public places including workplaces etc.

On monday, Punjab reported 419 new Covid-19 cases and one death. Omicron variant has also been regularly surging in the state that’s why Punjab government impose Covid-19 restrictions till January 15, 2022.

》Night curfew from 11 pm to 5 am. All the non-essential activities will remain prohibited during the night curfew.

》All schools, colleges, universities, educational institutions and coaching centres will remain closed. However, nursing and medical colleges may continue to function normally.

》Only fully vaccinated staff will be allowed to work in the government and the private offices, factories, industries etc.

》All Bars, cinema halls, multiplexes, malls, restaurants, spas, museums, zoos etc. will be allowed to operate at 50% capacity.

》All sports complexes, stadiums, swimming pools and gyms will remain closed (except being used for training of sports persons for participation in National/International sports event). No spectators or visitors are to be allowed.

》AC buses will run with 50% seating capacity.

》No mask no service rule- No service will be provided in government or private offices to the persons not wearing proper mask.
