Tokyo Olympics 2020:- Manika Batra in table tennis and Mary kom in boxing both won in their rounds

 India’s table tennis player Manika Batra won her 2nd round against Ukraine’s Margaryta Pesotska by 4-3. India’s Mary kom also won in Women’s flyweight Round of 32.

Tokyo Olympics 2020:- India’s table tennis player Manika Batra won her 2nd round against Ukraine’s Margaryta Pesotska by 4-3. Both the players have played very well. Competition was very tough between both the players but Manika Batra clinches victory in this match.

Initially, Ukraine’s Pesotska give very tough competition and she won first 2 sets by 11-4, 11-4. After losing two sets, Manika Batra gained momentum and won next 2 sets by 11-7 and 12-10. But Pesotska again won 5th set. Now, she was ahead by 3-2 and one more win would lead her to win.

In 6th set, Manika Batra again came back in the match and won this set by 11-5. Now, the match was draw by 3-3 and final set was left. In the final set, Batra won by 11-7 and beat Ukraine’s Pesotska by 4-3 in the interesting match. Now, Manika Batra has won her 1st and 2nd round.

Mary Kom beats Miguelina Hernandez by 4-1

On the other hand, India’s Mary kom also won in Women’s flyweight Round of 32. She beats Dominican Republic’s Miguelina Hernandez by 4-1. This bout was also very interesting between both the boxers. Somewhere, Mary kom was looking dominant in the match. She is the six times winner of world championship.

India’s 2nd day in Tokyo Olympics 2020 so far

India’s 2nd day was not good so far. In the artistic gymnastics, India’s Pranati Nayak played well and finished at rank 58. In the women’s 10m air pistol qualification, Manu Bhaker finished at rank 12 and Yashaswini Singh Deswal finished at rank 13. They didn’t qualify in this.
In 1st round of Women’s doubles Tennis, India’s Sania Mirza and Ankita Raina has faced lost from Ukraine’s Kichenok sisters. But in badminton, table-tennis and Boxing, there is a good news for India. P.V. Sindhu beats Israel’s Ksenia Polikarpova by 21-7 and 21-10. In table-tennis, Manika Batra and in boxing, Mary kom also won their rounds.
