Every year June 8 is celebrated as a National Best Friends Day. This day is celebrating for showing love and gratitude towards the best friend. Everyone has one best friend in their life which supports them in good and bad times. That friend looks like the family member of the person. This day is very popular among the younger generation.
This day was came into existence in the year 1935 when the US Congress gathered to celebrating June 8 as a Best Friends Day. Initially, it was celebrating in the US only but sooner several other countries also started celebrating it. It is believed that this day discovered from Friendship day.
Best friend has great importance in everyone’s life. With the best friend, person can share their emotional feelings and best friend gives their best to support him/her. After family, to whom person recognise the most that is the best friend. Best friends support each other in their tough times.
On this occassion, many institutions hold fun games and gatherings. Best friends meet and give gifts to each others but this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this is not possible because social distancing norm need to follow.
