Miss Universe 2021:- Mexico’s Andrea Meza becomes Miss Universe, India’s Adline Pastelino comes in top 5

Miss Mexico Andrea Meza wins the Miss Universe title after beating 70 contestants across the world

On the sunday night, 26 years old Miss Mexico Andrea Meza has been crowned Miss Universe. She beats brazilian and peruvian finalists. 69th Miss Universe competition was held in Hard rock hotel & Casino Hollywood, Florida. Andrea Meza becomes Miss Universe after beating 70 contestants of different countries. India’s Adline Pastelino secures fourth position in this competition.

Former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi of South africa crowned the Mexican winner. This three-hour televised event was hosted by American actor Mario lopez and television personality Olivia Culpo. Former Miss Universe contestants Cheslie Kryst, Paulina Vega and Demileigh Tebow has served as analysts and commentators in the competition. Panel of the eight women determined the winner.

Miss Myanmar Thuzar Wint Lwin used her stage time for highlighting the unfair practices are doing by the military coup in the myanmar. Since february 1, Myanmar is in very pathetic condition as military coup ousted the leader Aung San Suu Kyi. Many people have been shooted by the military coup. So, Miss Myanmar was urging people to speak out about the Myanmar. She won the best national costume award during the event.

Adline Pastelino has make Indians proud by getting fourth position in the competition. It is the proud moment for an Indians because in the tough competition she comes in top 5. In the national costume event, she represents India with an elegant 6 yards saree which was inspired by the national flower of India- Lotus. This beautiful saree was designed by Hyderabad based Designer- Sharavan Kumar.

After getting the fourth position, Adline Pastelino posted on the instagram and wrote a big caption. In the caption, she wrote, If I could pen down this feeling without getting overwhelmed about how I felt as I stood there witnessing people around the world cheering , flags waving high and even if I missed seeing 🇮🇳 I felt like I was home. I thought of you India and what we are going through.The love that people give you when they are hurting themselves is the purest form of love one can experience. I’m grateful to you that at a young age I have experienced that and if I could only show you what I saw that day!
