As we know, today is holi festival. Holi is one of the biggest festivals in India. Every age group people celebrate this festival with hope and joy. Childrens play holi with colours and water guns. Not even the childrens but the elders also use to play holi.
But this time, we need to take precautions while celebrating holi. Covid-19 cases are surging rapidly. More than 50000 cases have been coming for 4-5 days. It is a matter of concern. Central government has been awaring to the people of country about the second wave of covid-19.
This time, we have to celebrate holi only with our family in homes. Don’t play holi outside the homes. Just send online greetings to neighbours, friends and relatives. We have many kinds of apps available for sending greetings.
We need to follow covid-19 protocols like wearing mask, social distancing and regular sanitisation. More care is required to give our elders because there is more chance of spreading covid-19 in them.
We should not hug and handshake with each other while wishing holi to anyone. After playing holi with family members, we are required to bath and sanitise properly. If anyone is feeling ill then should not play holi even with the family members.
We know that we can’t celebrate holi with full of joy and fun but it will be beneficial for our next holi. Till now, we have been following covid-19 protocols efficiently and we should follow until this pandemic not goes.
Vaccination process has been started by central government and very soon we will defeat this pandemic. Once this pandemic will have gone then from next time we will celebrate holi with full of joy and happiness.
By following covid-19 protocols, we can protect ourself and our family members. In this way, we can fulfill the duty of being an indian citizen.
Stay safe, stay happy
Happy holi to all of you.
