According to her post, Cardi gave birth to her baby on Saturday, September 7. “The prettiest lil thing 🌸🌸,” she captioned the photos, expressing her joy.
Cardi first shared news of her pregnancy last month with an Instagram post, showing her standing on a balcony while cradling her baby bump. On the same day, it was revealed through her representative that she had filed for divorce from her husband, Offset, who is seen by her side in the latest baby announcement pictures.
“With every ending comes a new beginning!” Cardi wrote in her Instagram post last month. “I’m so grateful to have shared this season with you. You’ve brought me more love, more life, and most of all, renewed my power! You’ve reminded me that I can have it all — life, love, and my passion!”
She continued, “I love you so much and can’t wait for you to see what you’ve inspired me to accomplish. You, your brother, and your sister have shown me why it’s worth pushing through life’s challenges.”

Cardi B and Offset, who tied the knot in 2017, have had a tumultuous relationship, breaking up and reconciling over the years. In 2020, Cardi had filed for divorce but later reconciled with Offset. Together, they already share two children — their daughter Kulture, born in 2018, and their son Wave, born in 2021.
Cardi B revealed that she had separated from Offset in December 2023 and had filed for divorce. During an Instagram Live in December, she told fans that she had been “single for a minute.” Despite this, the couple was later seen together at a Met Gala after-party, leaving their relationship status unclear. In an interview with Rolling Stone in May, Cardi shared that despite everything, she and Offset “do love each other” and consider each other “best friends.”
Reflecting on their relationship, she said, “It’s not even about ‘How do you leave a partner?’ It’s about how do you stop talking to your best friend?”
Interestingly, Cardi B’s two youngest children will have birthdays close together, with Wave being born on September 4. She celebrated his birthday on Instagram last week, revealing how excited yet nervous she was when she found out she was having a boy. “I’m such a girly girl, but you make it easy, getting into that sporty mom vibe,” she wrote.
