Vinod Kambli, once famous for his remarkable 664-run partnership with Sachin Tendulkar in a school cricket match, is currently grappling with serious health issues. The 52-year-old, who once hit 22 runs in an over off Shane Warne, is now struggling to walk, as seen in a recent viral video.
Journalist Narendra Gupta shared a video of Kambli on Instagram, highlighting his deteriorating health and referring to him as “a former Indian cricketer.”

Kambli was initially considered a rising star in Indian cricket. He accumulated 1084 runs in 17 Test matches, averaging 54.20, since making his debut against England at Eden Gardens on February 2, 1993.
“Former cricketer Vinod Kambli is battling poor health. He has been open about his struggles with health issues and personal problems in recent years. He has been hospitalized several times due to various health concerns, including heart problems and depression. I hope he recovers soon and gets the support he needs!” Narendra Gupta posted on Instagram.
Kambli also played 104 ODIs, scoring 2477 runs at an average of 32.59. His First-Class cricket record is impressive, with 9965 runs in 129 matches at an average of 59.67.
