Raveena Tandon has been accused of “abusing and assaulting” some women in Mumbai’s Bandra late on Saturday. A widely shared video on social media shows Raveena pleading with a mob not to “hit her” as she tried to defend herself.
In the video, Raveena, dressed in white, is surrounded by the alleged victims and locals who attacked her. The police were called, and one of the women shouted, “My nose is bleeding. She (Raveena) assaulted me.”

Raveena is also seen asking the onlookers not to record the incident. She urged the mob not to hit her, saying, “Don’t push. Please don’t hit me.” Some people were heard shouting, “Maaro isko (Hit her).”
One of the alleged victims claimed that Raveena, in a drunken state, came out of her car to defend her driver and hit his mother, causing serious head injuries. However, reports suggest that the car did not touch anyone and that Raveena has sought legal assistance to address the allegations.

Raveena Tandon was last seen as a lawyer in Patna Shuklla, alongside the late actor Satish Kaushik and Manav Vij. The film explores an education scam affecting the lives of thousands of earnest students in India.
Speaking about the film, Raveena, who plays Tanvi Shukla, said in a statement, “Patna Shuklla aka Tanvi Shukla’s journey is relatable to Indians. It is a story of women leading at the front and managing her household and work life, which is certainly every woman in our country. I’ve poured a part of myself into my character.”
