In “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” the Deetz family moves back into their Winter River home after an unexpected death. Lydia’s (Ryder) rebellious teen daughter, Astrid (Ortega), discovers a portal to the afterlife in the basement, leading to the inevitable summoning of Beetlejuice, who brings chaos to the Deetz household once more.
“The living, the dead… can they coexist? That’s what we’re here to find out,” says Ryder’s Lydia in the trailer.
