Emilio Garcia, a former cameraman for Megan Thee Stallion, has recently initiated legal action against the hip-hop star, alleging a range of grievances, including harassment, a hostile work environment, and employment violations.
The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, paints a troubling picture of Garcia’s experience while working with Megan, whose real name is Megan Pete, from 2018 until June 2023.

At the center of Garcia’s allegations is an incident that purportedly occurred during a trip to Ibiza, Spain, in June 2022. Garcia claims that he found himself trapped inside a moving vehicle with Megan and three other women, one of whom engaged in sexual activity with Megan while he was present. This alleged event left Garcia feeling deeply uncomfortable and shocked, as he recounted in an interview with NBC News.
Following this incident, Garcia asserts that he was warned by Megan not to discuss what he had witnessed, setting the stage for what he describes as a pattern of mistreatment.
According to the lawsuit, Garcia was subjected to fat-shaming insults from Megan, who allegedly referred to him as a “fat bitch” and made disparaging remarks about his appearance and eating habits. This verbal abuse, particularly jarring coming from someone who advocates for body positivity, left Garcia feeling degraded and demoralized.
Moreover, Garcia claims that his working conditions deteriorated significantly after the Ibiza trip. He alleges that his compensation structure was abruptly changed, transitioning from a monthly flat rate to a pay-per-task system that left him financially vulnerable. Despite this change, Garcia asserts that he was expected to continue providing the same level of service without adequate compensation.
Furthermore, Garcia contends that he faced a decrease in bookings following the Ibiza incident, leading him to question his continued employment with Megan. According to the lawsuit, Garcia felt marginalized and undervalued, with his concerns about pay and workload going unaddressed.

In addition to the allegations of harassment and mistreatment, Garcia’s lawsuit raises concerns about employment practices within the entertainment industry. He claims that he was misclassified as an independent contractor, which deprived him of essential benefits such as health insurance and subjected him to wage violations, including denial of overtime pay and breaks.
The lawsuit seeks redress for Garcia’s alleged suffering, both financially and emotionally. He is demanding more than six figures in compensation, including unpaid wages, overtime wages, statutory penalties, and punitive damages.
Additionally, Garcia’s legal team is calling for Megan to take responsibility for her behavior and to rectify the toxic work environment that Garcia claims to have endured.
